[B]I have been given a Yorkie by my daughter as a companion after losing my husband recently.He is a cutie,and 13 months old,housetrained, innoculated etc .He only arrived 24 hours ago,and is obviously confused and frightened.We have treated him with kid gloves,so as to try and assure him we dont, intend him any harm.As my Granddaughter works for a pet supplies firm,I have been given every item he may need for his comfort and play.However,he wont settle and wouldnt give in to tiredness,falling asleep standing up...but alert again at every movement I made during the night.I cant go near him without him growling and snapping at me...so unable to pick him up at all.I do hope this will not continue as I have young Great Grandchildren.Can anybody give me advice please?
