I bought my Yorkie "Koda" 7 years ago, The breeder said it was a larger yorkie and would be about 10-15 lbs. I saw the parents and they were not that big. But "Koda" is now about 23lbs and his ears never stood up. But I love him just the same. My dad has a small yorkie about 8lbs and he puts my doggie in his place. My vet prefers bigger Yorkies as she said they are sturdier dogs with less problems. My yorkie just tore his ACL which is a common problem in yorkies. But now he can excerise, so I 'm looking to getting him back down to about 19 lbs. Which is were the Vet says he should be. So Love your "yorkie" now matter how big or small, and they will love you back!
