Harness seem like they can be very uncomfortable being left on all the time and I have seen them cause a rash and hair loss by being left on all the time. Callie always has her collar on but I make sure it is lose enough where if she got stuck on something she could slide her head out. I have heard way to many stories of dogs getting out and not having collars with tags on that it is not worth the risk for me. Side note I do not hook her collar to the leash ever.
