I'm still searching for preventatives for water intoxification.

Here is what I have found so far"

1. Limit water play and intersperse with other activities, especially if you have an avid water lapper upper.

2. Use of a lifejacket might reduce the dogs ingestion of so much water - ie the life jacket keeps the head up.

3. I like the salt/pedialyte idea.

4. I also like treats interspersed throughout activity.
