I live in a state more to the north in this country. We have cool to cold weather most of the year but for the 3 months of summer we get we do have AC to get us through. I try to leave it off for as long as possible because Gracie thinks she is a tropical type of girl. When the AC goes on she finds her blanket and cuddles up in it or finds a warm lap to cuddle in. I sometimes have to put a shirt or fleece on her to make her comfortable.
Can't imagine working in an office with no AC. Most of our buildings do not have windows that open anyway. Maybe we are too dependent on electricity and AC. In most cities everything just shuts down if we have a power outage.
I imagine you little girl does get quite a workout on the beach. It's nice that you give her a ride on the way home. Their legs are so much shorter than ours so they are really moving much faster than we realize. |
