Thank you, I!d forgotten just how much positive energy they bring into a home. We've only had her two weeks, so I suppose the progress is good. Already she's 90% potty trained and hasn't chewed a thing yet. That said, we 're always with her and any little gnaws are diverted to chews or another game. It's a beautiful time with a young dog. We were warned she had become very 'domineering', so far it's all been an absolute pleasure - BUT - we are both retired, so can devote the time to her. My wife's daughter has a mother and daughter duo, who have systematically eaten all their mum's shoes and furniture, They are however left to their own devices for 10 hours a day sometimes! Also a sudden thought, she might find the beach (very soft sand) a bit fatiguing, for those little legs. I carry her a bit of the way (in the lift and till we cross the road), in a sling shoulder bag, I'll give her a break tomorrow and pop her in earlier. She's quite fond of it, as only her head and front paws protrude over the top, so it's great for 'stealth Yorkie snooping'! We even chased a crab today, until it turned round and ran sideways at us...
