I actually had this problem with my mutt doggy. He went to the vet last week for his checkup and the vet said it was his anal sacs... They took care of that and Frank no longer smells like a foot, even right after a bath. The vet said usually the odor is much worse when they are full...He described it as a rotting fish smell.. Hope this helped.
