I too felt like the emergency vet we used a few months ago tried to "rape'' us. Telling us she needed to do test on my pregnant female that needed a C-section. The test were an ultra sound, x rays, blood work among others. She estimated the bill at $2400. We had $1000. put away for an emergency. When I told her we didn't have that much money she said to use care credit. Well they turned us down for $1000, credit. We have not used credit for 15 years. So I told her all I wanted was the C-section. What do you know it was $1000...just what I told her we had in the bank. This was an emergency vet on a Sunday night. Our regular vet. only charges $500. for a C-section. We live in a tiny little town but the emergency vet is in a big city. |
Lol....that was discussed a few weeks ago and the author of the critical post said she thought it was a different person who had inappropriate comments in another thread....the back and forth was really funny.
But yes we all feel that same way bout some of these bills..they do take advantage of us esp. during emotional times. What is not emotional about our babies
