Default Do what works for you and your pet

"One man's meat is another man's poison." Change that to dog if you wish.

I know several dog breeders that swear one brand is the worst food you can feed your dogs and other breeders that will only feed their dogs that same brand. One dog may have an adverse reaction to a dog food and a dozen other dogs never experience any problems. Reading, educating yourself, research and personal experience will tell you what is best for your dog. YT can be helpful with some of that.

Personally, I prepare my homemade food for my two 'special needs' dogs. At first, I purchased prepared food specific to their needs. I prefer making it now and it is not that difficult or time consuming. I have also found it cheaper even when I buy all organic ingredients.

I am all for anyone profiting from the sale of a book or other product so I do not want to stand in judgment of the book mentioned. What is wonderful about living in the USA is that we can decide if we will or will not buy it. If you decide to buy it just remain open minded and remember that everything the author states may be true from his perspective and his experience but may not apply to your needs and wants for your dogs. Very good feedback and discussion for you in this thread.
