We have a wooden birdhouse on a shepards hook not 4ft off of our patio. Its in the shade most of the day. There is a pair of house sparrows raising 2 babys there. They will let us watch them feed the babys in the morning. After the babys are gone I am going to remove the house for a short time. It is going to be in the 100s here soon and I dont want any babys to die because it is inclosed and hot.
I have really enjoyed watching them. Even the dogs will sit on the patio and watch. |
