We had a similar situation when we first got Snoopy. We were buying potty pads, and the clerk says, "that's just going to make him go in the house." I was speechless at the time, but I wish I would have said, "that's kinda the point". I wonder if the store knows the clerk is trying to stop you buying one of their products.
