People can be jerks. Its none of the petsmart employees business how you train your dog and I think I would complain. I would have Callie trained to pads if she wasn't so big. Some people don't realize with small dogs there are a whole lot of dangers for them outside. Just lack of knowledge I am guessing on the person at Petsmart. I think having a small dog who looks the size of what people thing is a teacup gives them a great chance to tell people about no such thing as a teacup but if that makes you uncomfortable I would come up with something like nope shes a dog I don't drink my tea out of her or some other funny slightly sarcastic comment. Both seem to be uneducated in small dogs but heck most of use where when we came here.
