I didn't really see before because her cottony coat is so thick, I only saw a little bit of it and the hair around it was all stuck, I tried to shave it a bit but I could tell it hurt her- I put a warm wash cloth on it and now I can see the area or injury is a HUGE circle on her but (like an inch I think- she wont really let me look at it) I thought we were out of the woods because she felt better  |
I have never had it happen to any of mine. I got them after it had happened! It is just a bare spot...and yes, about 1" in diameter. I have seen it on a few of my fosters. One of my pups has one. Usually you really cannot see them until you are blow drying their hair.
