You should check with your Vet on the type of flea and tick treatment to use in your area. Frontline Plus works for me but not for everyone.
I started my Chloe on Frontline Plus at 16 weeks (which happen to be in Jan but I do treat my dogs year round) on the box it states weight 0-22 lbs. I only used 1/2 the amount in the pipette for the first application then at 5months I started using the full amount in the pipette. At 16 weeks old Chloe weighed 3lbs 3oz. and at 5months she weighed 4lbs 1oz. I only used 1/2 the amount the first time just to make sure she would be alright with it and not make her sick. And the reason I started at 16 weeks was because she had finished with all her puppy shots. |
