It doesn't sound much as if her breeding females are really considered or truly loved deeply as pets considered to be family members if she can let them "retire" and go to other homes when they are done serving her interests. And if they aren't loved beyond measure and treated like little furry queens, I am sure the dogs sense that during the time they are being bred, carrying puppies, whelping and tending their puppies for her. It sounds sad for the breeding dogs that they are rather cast off when their use is over but I am glad a person like that lets them go and at least the dogs have a chance at the true pet lifestyle where they are the "end all and be all" to some person or family and get Christmas presents and have Birthdays and go on vacation with their people.
