Yorkies and poodles have continuously growing hair, so he will fill out again. Just give it time. Be sure to use sunscreen on him if outside in the sun for any length of time. His skin will be very sensitive to sunburn. I know you are heartbroken at the loss of the coat, but it WILL grow back! During this time of regrowth, I would research groomers in your area and make sure you get one that will follow your instructions. I prefer to use a groomer where I can stay and watch as he is being groomed. This way, you make sure your pup is being treated well and that they follow your directions. Good luck! Welcome to YT!
