That is such a sweet and unique story. I have got two sweeties, but don't know if either one of them would be as sweet as Jack was to your needy baby bird. However, I do know, without a doubt, what ever my Jasmine finds she will kill it if you don't get to it first. Her lineage must come from the Grand Daddy Ratter of them all because she is a killer. She is extremely affectionate with all people, but when it comes to vermin (or what she perceives as vermin) she goes straight for the throat. It has to be ingrained, bc we brought her home at 8 weeks. She has quickly killed rabbits, lizards, garden snakes, moles and even a full grown cardinal. I am so glad she is only 6 pounds.
