Ok, before I fess up I know I am going to receive a lot of flack about this one. I have a 6 month old Yorkie. When I brought him home I had him sleep in a crate during the night. Well, he would cry to get out every 2 hours or so and of course I spent my entire night getting up and letting him in and out. One night during a sleep deprived moment I stuck him in the cage with my
1 1/2 year old Australian Shepherd before we went to bed. He slept the ENTIRE evening. My Aussie is absolutely wonderful with him. He is so patient and tolerant of the babies playfulness. I can hear them the entire evening and I do hear when they are playing. But it has worked wonderfully so far. I can actually get some sleep and everyone fairs a lot better this way.
