People with larger Yorkies should be aware that a hungry hawk will attack larger animals. An 8 or 10lb dog could get sliced up pretty well with those talons so don't take chances. The young birds that are out on their own for the first few months make some daring attacks when they have not had a meal for a few days.

yeah, they'll try to get anything if their hungry enough!
