If Cinders started to bite me instead of the toy, I'd freeze. When she started chewing on the toy again, I'd play. This was suggested on the boards by someone and it works. If they are more interested in biting you than biting the toy, you take the biting interest away from you by freezing. You become boring.
. When they go back to the toy, unfreeze and play. Hope this works for you. It took a few days for Cinders to understand, but it worked.
