Apparently the former employees waited a long time to report a lot of violations, so that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't true.
Look at Mel Gibson, his behavior was kept hush hush in Hollywood for years. It wasn't until someone made an audio tape public that the world learned about his propensity for anti-Semitic, anti-black, misogynistic rants.
