The problem with vets is they cannot memorize and know each breed and there history. Yorkies where bigger when they where used as raters. What registry is your pup registered? If its not AKC or the Canadian kennel Club then he might be a mix but the registrys I said are reputable and unless the breeder is lying a forging papers it should be a pure breed.
