Polite police alert! Who are you to come along and call someone else condescending! You're doing the very same thing you're accusing ladyjane of. Please realize that advice that is wrong can kill a dog and while none of us are vets I could bore you with hours worth of stories of vet mistakes. I hate this kind of post! The posters were wrong and ladyjane pointed it out to be helpful, take it for all that it's worth and leave the rest.
