When I was looking for foods, the very first thing I did was to eliminate EVERY one that adds coloring...I figured my dogs don't care if there's little red & green kibble in their bowl.
I also tried hard to convince MIL to do the same sort of research. Sadly she bought Beneful for her Jack Russell. Patches now has severe liver issues & probably a shortened life span.
I always say buy the best you can for your pups. It really pays off in the long run! |
