I know it's hard not to roll my eyes but sometimes I have fun with, like
"Well let me help you guess, I will give you a few clues, dress, bow, pink, now take a guess", or I will say "I am an equal opportunity owner, so some days I let him wear a dress" or "I have always wanted to own a little cross dresser"

. I say it funny so they usually wind up laughing.
