When I bathe Huey, I pretty much just hold his nose down as I pour water over his head because he will tilt his head up and then splutter and cough with water in his nose. He seems to hold his ears down pretty well during this process, and had never had an ear infection, and I don't use any ear dry products. In fact, we had a vet visit today right after a bath and I warned her he had just been bathed and probably had water in his ears and her only concern with his ears was they were too hairy to see into very well. I told her I didn't pluck his ears and she said as long as there weren't any problems, she didn't see the need. As for eyes, he gets water and soap in them and it doesn't phase him a bit. |
