He's 9 months old, around 7.5 lbs.
Initially he was on BB when I got him (at 7 months) He ate very little of it, so on a suggestion from another Yorkie owner, I switched to RC Puppy.
He did just ok on the first bag, and now won't even touch it!
If you do think it's worth my drive, I won't hesitate. I think he'd like the Duck/Sweet potato version. |
Whoa! I think that's a crazy amount of driving! I would definitely try to either order it online or call local independent pet stores and see if you can have them special order it for you (I was able to find a store by where I worked that could get it for me...and I didn't have to pay for shipping!). CC has great reviews but I'd definitely look at other options first if accessibility is an issue and if it's not the only food your dog will do well on. I know Fromm has a Duck and Sweet Potato formula that our beagle back home enjoyed. Also Go! as well as Acana both have duck varieties as well...I think those are great options and ones that I would check out first before taking such a long journey to get a food that your pup might not even eat...the things we are willing to do for our pups though...
