I have one. I love it. Bentley is to the point where I do not crate him in it. The large door in the front is now removed. There are many times I realize he's quite and go looking for him and find him sleeping the the bed part. I think he tends to go there when he's overtired or overwhelmed by the activities of the household.

When he was younger I had a portable fence attached to it so he was not locked in the PTPA. (I got it at Petsmart and it was cheaper than what the PTPA company wanted for theirs.) He had a nice play yard with some toys and his food and water. I have a post on here somewhere with the setup I had when Bentley was younger. I'll hunt it down and post it.

I admit is's costly(I did the monthly payments) but given the fact I live on a second story apartment, it was February when I got him, and I work all day, it was well worth the investment.

Right now I'm at work and he is home with access to the kitchen, living room and hall and I feel confident about coming home to no mess. Other than toys scattered everywhere. lol

Don't get me wrong he has his accidents from time to time, related mostly to he thinks after 2 pees his pad should be replaced. When I'm gone all day, I have a portable nylon crate I put a couple of pads in so he has extra potty real estate, that I leave out as well.

He'll be 7 months on the 27th and this has been a great investment. When he was little I was able to kennel him in it at special times when I could not watch him and not worry about what if he needs to potty. Like taking a shower, when we sat down for dinner, mopping/vacuuming and the like.
