My son's pup went to the vet during the day with it and they took her to the EC for fluids during the night...she died four hours later. When my George recently was diagnosed, I went directly to GCVS after my vet did the initial exam. They did a full work up with an ultrasound and found he had fluid on his abdomen and chest and mind you the vomiting had only started that day.. they gave him a 50/50 chance of making it...they gave him plasma and he did make it but it made a believer out of me. Of course, those two did not have any food and yes, they can get it without it BUT most cases really are related to food. You really, really need to find a way to make a believer out of your husband! This really frightens me. | I am going to read this to him. Maybe he will see that what I am saying is serious. |
