When Max was a puppy, a couple of people picked him up without supporting his rear end. After I saw that, I decided no more.
I'm sorry your little Draco was injured. When my brothers visit, Max likes to go on their laps and flip over on his back for a belly rub. It makes me so nervous because Max is accustomed to me or my father spotting him. I have to remind my brothers to make sure Max doesn't fall from the couch or chair.
I also have to be careful with petting in public. Everyone wants to stick their fingers in Max's eyes and rub in circles on his topknot. Max is tolerant of it, but Teddy is not.
