Thanks everyone! Adopting from a shelter is my plan for sure. I'm a little worried because I contacted the organization that I'd like to adopt from with questions and well..the lady and I got into an argument because she was being really rude!
So I hope that doesn't count against me, because believe me, I'm ready to give a dog the best life any dog could ask for. I'm actually looking to adopt a pup that's at least a year old. But a puppy could be nice too. My two biggest concerns are potty training and how well my future pup will do when I need to leave home. But I guess those are things I'll have to discuss with the adoption organization.
I'll for sure ask questions, and keep everyone updated and please if you have information, suggestions, or helpful hints to offer I'm willing to listen
