My vet had faxed Cookie's labs to the specialist. He called today and was very pleased with Cookies results. He is cutting her prednisone down to every 3 days instead of every other day. She is to be retested in four months. As long as she remains as she is, he is going to take her off of the pred!!!! I am so excited. I really had not expected to hear from him since she is fine. He had originally told me she would be on it forever. I swear it is the diet that Dr. Lenox put her on!
