The backline level. Note it does not say the back, nor does it say the spine, it states the backline with the height at the shoulder the same as at the rump. Unfortunately, this is many times achieved in the ring by a straight shoulder and tilted pelvis. Do not judge the toplines with the exhibitor on the floor holding the dog straight and pushed together, let the dog stand natural and look at the topline on the go around!
