I have worn contact lenses for 27 years, I have had to change to multifocal specs as the multi contacts were just not working for me anymore. I would give anything to be able to just wear contacts again, however vanity has gone out the window. Practicality has now taken over. If you are comfortable with contacts go with them, if you can. However always make sure you have a backup spare of specs.
