I had the same conversation with my vet's tech about the overnight stay. Piper is 3.3 lbs and has never been alone for a night. She sleeps in my mom's bed and cries if Mom even gets out of the room and she can't follow her. We haven't talked to Dr. H about it yet, because he wanted to wait to do Piper's spay until her adult teeth are more developed and the puppy teeth have a chance to fall out on their own. He already knows I will argue with him til the cows come home, AND that I have information to back up my argument (thanks to YT), so it shouldn't be an issue, lol.
