Elliott woke up this morning vomiting yellow bile and retching very bad. I had switched him back to regular food on the direction of his regular vet. He suggested his liver levels were not off enough to be concerned with. He was very lathargic and slept most of the day, seemed very out of it since I switched his food. I put him back on the liver support food and he had a much better day today. I wonder even though his levels aren't off dramaticaly that maybe he does need the food?? I am not sure... he goes back to his specialist when he has his post surgery check up in 4 weeks. The tests showed he does have a small liver, and the shape and color are very likely mycrovascular dysplasia, must not be bad enough to throw his levels off alot but maybe bad enough that the liver diet helps him feel better...not sure..would love to hear your thoughts... |
