Yeah but if allowed and no view restrictions in my are a permit is only $200. That alone can save one vet bill or your dogs life. A 6ft is alot better then a 4ft fence. Most dogs don't go over a 6ft fence. A Coyote will but they are agile hunters. Permits mean it needs to be inspected to make sure your doing it right. To protect ppl and future property owners from shabby work. Be surprise how some ppl can't build anything right. Even Contractors. So many high decks fall of the building with ppl on them ect.. You don't want your fence to fall in a wind storm either.
