It amazes me how people can be so cruel, I really feel for you. I'm also so angry with the police, mental health is not something just to brand around, I would have said if you think I'm mentally unwell get me a mental health act assessment done, that would show what your feeling is "normal" reaction to the situation your in. If your going to the vet with your baby discuss what has happened with them, they might have advice? or phone the RSPCA for advice, maybe they have connections with the police, even if the person claims the dog were neglected she still is not allowed by law to steal. I can only imagine how your feeling, and how hard it is but please with the help of others don't give up, she can't get away with this, I'm sure if you contacted the RSPCA they would be supportive and sympathetic to your situation, and could give you advice. Don't feel guilty about thinking of another pup, your trying your best to think of anything that will help you and Bobbin.
