Your "friend" must not be a dog lover! Does she know that humans have more germs than dogs?
Their saliva kills germs that are in their mouth, too! Mine do have their own dishes that are washed right after they eat. I do not have a dishwasher, so they get washed with my other dishes.
I have had dogs all my life and have never caught the flu or a cold from one of my dogs, but have from family and friends!
