I'm with you all on this. Julie and Sabu have their own dog bowls of course.
We've NEVER had an issue with them eating off our plates, bowls and silverware.
That is what my dishwasher is for, sanitizing. *Chuckles* Probably a year or two after we adopted Sabu, DH was the one that told me that 40% of people share their desserts with their pets. He was the one that actually initiated the whole thing. I bathe Julie in my kitchen sink, I'm not going to break my back to wash her in the tub. Whereas with Sabu, he showers with me, me first then him. I with someone that stated if people get grossed out with the way I handle my dogs, then by all means bring your dinnerware. Like me Dad told me not that long ago, "It's my house." Just remember back in the day before most of us used dishwashers, we all fed Fido and Fluffy on our dinner plates and silverware using our spoons to scoop up their pet food with our spoons and place it in one of our bowls.
