I think it does make a difference if they choose to go vs they're being made to go. There are days I get my stuff together, grab Kaji's carrier and put him in there. He shakes and is absolutely miserable the entire time. How wet, if I ask him "wanna come?" Or "wanna go outside?" He's happy as a clam and sits oh so nicely in his carseat. No drama and we both enjoy it.
