Keep at it. I thought it would never happen. Galen is the same way. He would take his two paws and put it on the top of his head and pull the bows out. They start to get used to it. I started with butterfly clips then scrunchies. He used to fight me to put them in. The topknots were so bad. But I got them in. Now he is actually calmer. Not totally. It is a work in progress. I have been using treats a lot to get him to sit to put on clothes and the top knot. I break a Cheerios into 3-4 pieces. I know it is really small but he is and he thinks he is getting more treats that way. It is starting to work. It will happen.
