I honestly think it depends on the female and how often she comes in heat. Some of mine come in heat every 6 months so I will not normally breed them back to back. If a females comes in heat every 9 or 10 months then it would not hurt her. Anytime you skip a heat on a female you really have to watch her for pymotra.
