We're going to the holistic vet today. She said don't try to give him the pills yet. I think at this point, he'd eat canned food well, as bad as I hate canned, and most of it junk. |
Actually canned food contains more nutrients than dry, and adds water to the diet.
Could he be needing fluids? Many dogs lose their appetite when they even start to become dehydrated.
I use chicken baby food to give mine pills. I've never been successful using pill pockets. No matter how small I make it, they always bite into it and then spit it out. Some folks use cream cheese, peanut butter, butter, tiny piece of lunchmeat....
