They certainly do - like ducks, herons, swans.... That's what we were using, love those long training lead-type things.

If you ever fancy a 'different' type of break, it might be worth you having a look at the windmill www.horningholidayhomes.co.uk/windmill it is so quirky, and dog-friendly! Plus there's a really lovely pub up the road, on the water, to save you cooking - dog friendly too, woo hoo!

Where abouts in Northumberland are you? I took my mum up to your part of the Country for a holiday a few years back, we went to Bamburgh (sp?) Holy Island and Seahouses etc....am I in the right part of the Country?!!? Or am I getting confused in my old age...!!! Sally x
