I am distressed that anyone would disregard the agreement they made with their landlord regarding "no pets". All of you should be ASHAMED of yourselves you are not being honest. You are not being fair to your animal by seeking ways to curb their natural expression (barking). I will state one final fact, we as landlords spent around $2200.00 in 2005 on pet clean up after dishonest tenants moved or were discovered. |
When I got Coco as a gift, I also lived in a no-pet policy luxury apartment. But for the sake of my dogs comfort and for the sake of honesty to my landlord, I moved. Even though it was a big, beautiful apartment that I was paying a lot less for, I moved so that Coco can run and play outside without me worrying about getting caught. And that I can train her, let her bark, ect. if need be. I think before you get any animal, especially a dog, that needs outside time, you should either consider moving or wait until you decide to move on your own. It's not fair to the dog. Or you can make the sacrifice like I did, for the love of your dog, to live somewhere else. It's only fair to all parties involved.
