Maybe you could check your billing receipt to see if any microscopic tests were done? I would expect that they swab the inside of those ears to check for a fungal or yeast infection as well as mites.
It really does not sound like mites. Something like mites does not usually start with a sudden onset like that. If he had some sort of fungal infection it could have gotten to an area that is more painful and started to bother him. If he never saw into the ear that well he should have had you or a tech hold him still so he could get a good look. |
