Yeah, My boyfriend and I have been dating over a year (One year three months) and Mystep mom hasn't met him yet, but my little brother has. My little brother and I are very close, and he doesn't like him all that much. I ask why and he says "I don't know theres just something about him, he thinks he's better then me. Because he was in the Air Force longer." My boyfriend's never said anything(to my knowledge) to make him feel this way. Just that he was in the Air Force for four years. My brother was in for only a year. My brothers also very protective over his big sis after what happened with the druggie/alcoholic. (he liked him, until he found out the truth). Maybe it's just because he doesn't really know him, they've really never really talked to eachother.
My step mom's never met him because she hasen't made any effort to see me in three years and i haven't had the time to go see her.
my biological dad's side of the family(that i keep in contact with) really likes him. They hated the druggie/alcoholic, and the one after him that moved away from me while we were together. but they love the one i'm with now. |
