ok well mine bark at the cats...they go crazy when jack and charlie are trying to come inside after a hard days work of chasing critters. so ive tried the water bottle, treats, distraction......nothing has helped. i have the potty area set up in a room just outside my bedroom and i have a door on that room. so what i have done is started time outs. i have the gate set up and if they bark they go in time out. so right away ill take cedric n lola (keylo is only interested in kissing jack and charlie) and put them in time out the second they bark and or chase jack or charile. I wait about a minute or two for them to completely stop barking and whining. cedric is very good at letting me know hes not pleased with being in time out. this has worked amazing for me and the key is every single time.......eventually they understood why i was putting them in time out. now most of the time they ignore when jack and charlie come in. and i am also sure to tell them thank you for the strager alert - enough when they are barking at a car in the driveway or a stranger approaching the house. so far it is so much better and i have more control over the situation.
