Waiting patiently for answers to this as well. Monty is a teapot yorkie and is barking a lot now that we are outside so much more and I would really like it to stop. We have a spray bottle with water that we squirt him with and say 'NO' when he barks and that seems to work. Sounds mean but it is only water and it seems to work sometimes. Mostly I call him and if he comes he gets a treat, so no we are not torturing our wee sweetheart. We live in a neighborhood that has a lot of dogs and once one starts they all start so it would be so nice not to always be the cause of the uproar. I would never use a bark collar or any of the other products out there but if someone has a good method I would love to hear it!!! |
